Is this an official Instituto Cervantes website?
No. It's an independent product, with no connection or sponsorship. The questions are from the Instituto Cervantes' official free manual, which you can download yourself.
Why do I need an account to practise?
Because the app saves what you get right and wrong, and without an account there'd be nowhere to save it. Signing up means giving an email: there's no password to invent or remember.
